Render cleaning brings property’s appearance back to life!
 
We had an enquiry for our render cleaning services from a couple in Sherborne who had been recommended to use our company by somebody in the neighbourhood. We had carried out a render clean for their neighbours’ property 2 years previously and they were very impressed! 
 
When looking at the render, which included house, garage & garden walls, it was clear there was a large build-up of various algae’s, lichen, mildew, and small amounts of moss growing through the render. Whilst we can’t guarantee that any biological growth causes damage to render, it certainly will not help the lifespan of the render. Not only this, but the marks that appear can leave a very unsightly appearance! 
 
With our years of expertise, we were able to outline our plan of intention to the customer. When it comes to very porous render such as K-rend (as in this instance), we use very low-pressure steam cleaning, followed by a series of chemical softwash treatments, until the desired original result is achieved. The results are truly amazing as you can see from a couple of photos, what a difference! 
 
The after pictures here are showing our follow-up treatment a couple of months after the initial steam clean / treatment. We give the render time to settle after the initial clean before applying a secondary follow-up treatment to all the render elevations and you can see how clean it is from the initial works amongst the suds running down the wall! This treatment provides protection and longevity to the render, keeping it looking great for a long time!
